Ultrablu

Ultrablu is an art studio and cultural association based in Rome, Italy, that supports neurodiverse artists and creators with disabilities. It provides a space for artistic expression, workshops, and exhibitions, fostering a community that celebrates diverse talents and perspectives. The organization aims to promote inclusivity in the art world and challenge traditional narratives about disability and creativity.

Who: Artistic residents and travelers of the Prati neighborhood of Rome, who want to feel a connection to the greater community.

What: A series of social media posts that establish the presence of Ultrablu in Rome, promote various events and their unique services.

Why: Ultrablu is a kind of nonprofit in Rome, so to keep the atelier running the space is held by donations and sales of books or small bites and drinks, which helps further the artistic skills of these adults with neurological or physical differences who choose to express themselves with Ultrablu.

How: Using design from Adobe Express and following certain guidelines for inclusive language within Roman dialect, posts on Instagram would be made weekly that would highlight a published book from an Ultrablu artist in a “Book of the Week” content series. This promotes not only the specific books itself but for those to visit the workspace and encourages many to become involved or donate and share their mission.
